ABOUT MEGHNA LALL

Helloooo, I’m Meghna but you can call me Meg! I was based in East London for over 12 years but now call Leigh-on-Sea home.

Little bit about me – I grew up between Canada and Singapore. In 2013, I moved to London after studying drawing in Florence, Italy, and later completing my BA in Fine Art painting at Central Saint Martins. My journey towards pet portraiture began after losing my beautiful golden retriever, Genghis, who brought so much joy to my life for 15 incredible years. When he sadly passed in 2018, painting my friend’s dogs became both a way to help me grieve and but also a way to honour Genghis’s memory. It has allowed me to connect with others who share the deep love we have for our furry family members.

I’ve been absolutely overwhelmed by the response since starting this journey, and I want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has trusted me to capture their wonderful pets in my art. I feel so lucky to create these special keepsakes and can’t wait to paint more of your cherished loved ones!
